The number of beneficiaries of the food bank in the Loiret increased by 8% last year. At the same time, donations are decreasing and volunteers are becoming rarer.

To compensate, the association must buy more food, 3% more last year to reach 5% of the total. In addition, the “pick-ups” from supermarkets are deteriorating in quality. The stakes are all the greater as poverty continues to gain ground in the region. The association, which has 52 volunteers and 7 employees, therefore seeks to attract new volunteers.
