Jorge Antonio Sánchez Ortega was one of the two Cisen agents involved in the assassination of PRI presidential candidate Luis Donaldo Colosio in 1994. He gave his first statement as a suspect to the Prosecutor's Office the day after the assassination.

He demolishes the theory that Mario Aburto, the only one arrested for the assassination, acted alone. The testimonies also show that Cisen – now renamed the National Intelligence Center (CNI) – undertook an operation to free the agent moments after his capture.
