The Palacio de Correos y Telégrafos, or Post Office Palace, was built in 1888 in Buenos Aires. It was designed by French architect Norbert Maillart, inspired by the New York Central Post Office.

The palace was on the verge of sinking and had to be "relieved" because it was sinking. In 1997, the building was declared a National Historic Landmark. In 2006, an international call was made for the restoration and refunctionalization of the Palace.
