Argentine tennis player Román Burruchaga defeated Peque Schwartzman 6-1, 4-6, 6-4. The 22-year-old made his ATP Tour debut at the Córdoba Open in Cordoba.
His father Jorge is a World Champion with the Argentine National Team in 1986. Román will face the German Yann Hanfmann in the next round of the 250 category tournament on Thursday. The young right-handed and two-handed backhand player came to tennis as a hobby when he was 8.
