Trevor Daniel Jacob, 29, jumped from his aircraft with a parachute on November 24, 2021. He claimed he suffered a serious damage and had no other way to save himself.
But some time later he admitted the truth and now he faces a harsh penalty. The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Central District of California issued a statement on its website, saying Jacob confessed to lying. Jacob represented his country at the 2014 Winter Olympics: he competed in the snowboardcross discipline.
