The Disciplinary Court of the Argentine Football Association published the sanctions for the protagonists who were expelled by referee Darío Herrera. The most severe penalties were for Ezequiel Fernández and Jorge Almirón, who received two suspension dates for being repeat offenders.
The rest got it very cheap: Palavecino, Centurión and Elías Gómez, from River, received a match, as did Miguel Merentiel and Nicolás Valentini, from Boca.
