The Supreme Court of the United States agreed on Wednesday February 28 to take up the question of criminal immunity invoked by Donald Trump. The Supreme Court will examine the matter at the end of April, a few months before the presidential election.

A federal appeals court dismissed the criminal immunity of Donald Trump on February 6, reopening the way for his trial for attempting to illegally reverse the results of the 2020 election. The case will be heard by the Supreme Court's nine-member bench on April 28.
