Today an 8-hour strike in Bologna proclaimed by CGIL and UIL, 4 hours and mobilization throughout Italy. The search continues for the four missing in the Bargi hydroelectric power plant.

The flow of water in the flooded floors of the power plant is being stabilized, with 100 firefighters involved. The demonstration opened with the banner 'Enough is enough!', referring to deaths at work. In Emilia-Romagna the abstention was doubled in duration (8 hours) and extended to the public cleaning sector, after the massacre at the Suviana power plant in the Bolognese Apennines. "It is the day of anger because after the dismay I think that yesterday's press conference by Enel Green Power are also absurd and unacceptable," says CGIL's Michele Bulgarelli, secretary of the CGIL of BologNA. The national general strike will last until Sunday, with stops for trains, buses and metro in the cities of Rome and Milan.
