Today an 8-hour strike in Bologna proclaimed by CGIL and UIL, 4 hours and mobilization throughout Italy. In Emilia-Romagna the abstention was doubled in duration (8 hours) and extended to the public cleaning sector.
The search continues for the four missing in the Bargi hydroelectric power plant. The flow of water in the flooded floors of the power plant is being stabilized, with 100 firefighters involved. It was a night of unsuccessful searches in the bargi power plant (Bologna), in the Suviana basin, where on Tuesday afternoon an alternator exploded. The searches actually started again last night at 8pm, when the minimum safety conditions to be able to work were restored. The situation still remains very complicated because the affected floors - floors 8, 9 and 10 - are still with over a meter of water, full of rubble caused by the explosion and pieces of reinforced concrete. We continue non-stop with the work of the divers, with the help of aquatic drones and water pumps.
