The flow of water in the flooded floors of the power plant is being stabilized, with 100 firefighters involved. The president of the CEI, Cardinal Archbishop Matteo Zuppi, said this in his speech in Piazza Maggiore. "Safety is not a cost, it's not a luxury but it is a duty, an inalienable right for every person", he said. In the procession that passed along Via Indipendenza there was a section of Enel workers, mostly from Enel Energia and Enel Distribuzione. "The company continually outsources both clerical and operational activities to cut costs," says Giuseppe from the Enel Deregionale. "As long as it concerns employees the errors can be remedied, when services are outsourced things are different", adds Gianmarco Cimatti.
