The Taking of Christ, the mysterious Caravaggio returns to Naples - Campania. Until June 16th at Palazzo Ricca.

"This is the first version" says Francesco Petrucci, curator of the exhibition. The painting had only been exhibited in 1951 at the historic Exhibition of Carvaggio and the Caravaggesques, curated by Roberto Longhi, at the Palazzi Reale in Milan. Twenty years ago it was purchased by the current owner Mario Bigetti.
