The Intelligence Division of the IDF revealed testimonies of Hamas and Islamic Jihad operatives who were arrested at Shifa Hospital. In the investigation, the terrorists described the number of terrorist operatives who operate in the hospital compound, and even detailed how key departments serve as headquarters for the organizations.
One of those interrogated, the Islamic Jihad activist, Nabil Regev Abd Ashtiwi, said that "the activists are in all the buildings, scattered everywhere" He even discovered that the maternity ward in Shifa serves as the headquarters of theIslamic Jihad.
