The United States carried out retaliatory strikes in Syria after the death of three soldiers, according to American media. Six pro-Iran fighters were reportedly killed Friday in strikes “probably” carried out by the United States in eastern Syria, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported.
The strikes came shortly after Joe Biden presided over a solemn ceremony welcoming on American soil the remains of these three soldiers killed on Sunday near the Syrian border. In Washington, media reported American strikes in Iraq and Syria.
