The National State rented five floors and thirty garages of a building that stands steps from the obelisk, on Avenida Roque Sáez Peña 1149. The rental contract was for thirty-six months plus a possible additional year of extension.
In August 2023, the same Ministry of Social Development, headed by Victoria Tolosa Paz, hired a construction company to carry out a “space reconditioning service” of the rented offices. The company that won this million-dollar contract to modify the offices is called Secavit SA.
