The Women of America forum for rights and well-being was organized by EL PAÍS. The dialogue welcomed some of the most representative figures of positions of power.
Only 42% of Latin American women are included in the formal labor market and only 7% of them hold a managerial position in private sector companies. The conversation also touched on other questions such as the relationship with power, structural machismo and the scope of institutions to promote significant changes. The meeting, which was sponsored by Iberdrola Mexico and Telefónica, took place at the Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City.
