The warmest lake in Germany is in Bavaria – and sets a double record. The water in Lake Friedenhain is said to be up to 28 degrees warm in summer.
The lake in the Straubing-Bogen district has the “longest water ski & wakeboard cable car in the world with a 1200 meter circuit” The water temperatures in Lake Abtsdorf are said to reach up to 17 degrees in May and 26 degrees in midsummer. The Abtsdorfer See is one of the warmest lakes in Upper Bavaria.
