The Weilheim-Schongau Health Department educates young people, parents and professionals about the basics of addiction. Basic courses are normally held in the 7th and 8th grades of all types of schools.
In 2023 it was decided to do this at nine schools between Penzberg and Schongau. 28 training courses on the Youth Protection Act were carried out by the health department in 2023 in advance of club events. The topic of cannabis was already part of the prevention events in the district before partial legalization.
