Film about the group of Jewish partisans Nakam, born in the ghetto of Wilno (today Vilnius) in 1942. Features the members of the commando led by Abba Kovner, when they decided to poison the water distribution network of Nuremberg, at the time of the Nazi trial, in 1946.

The plan will fail, like plan B, consisting of arsenic poisoning of the bread distributed to the thousands of German prisoners of war grouped in the former Dachau camp. This relatively little-known episode of the immediate post-war period inspired the Pole Emil Marat to write a disturbing and edifying novel at the same time, The Wells of NUREmberg. The film will be broadcast on Arte in 2023, under the title The Poison of Vengeance, and will also be released on DVD and Blu-ray in the same year. The book will be published by Simon & Schuster, priced £16.99. For more information on the film, visit the Arte website.
