Corruption is an abuse of trust, fraud in its strictest sense, he writes. It is a lie in action, someone who secretly does the opposite of what he says and shows and denies it by lying, fatally lying. The idea that the main cause of the ills of our societies is the corruption of their politicians is a self-serving fallacy, he adds.
