Oise gendarmes sent divers to search the Noyon canal and heavy forces to arrest the suspects. The latter were presented this Friday to the Compiègne public prosecutor's office.

All legally repeat offenders, they were placed in pre-trial detention this Friday evening, with a view to being judged on Monday. The case began on March 31, when the Oise gendarmerie was called to intervene in a break-in in the neighboring town of Pont-l'évêque. The owners of a single-family house had gone away and, on their return, doors and windows had been broken. Their Audi car was no longer there, as was their safe. Inside were cash, administrative documents, family belongings and jewelry. The victims estimated their damage at around 50,000 euros, including their vehicle. They lead the soldiers, a few days later, to the edge of the canal, to Noy on, where the suspects were arrested.
