A former provincial minister, his private secretary and the son of the former governor posed as chiefs of a Ranquel community. The government allocated a field of 66 thousand hectares, more than 8,200 animals and rental contracts.

The main defendant in the complaint is Sergio Gustavo Freixes, who in the government of Alberto Rodríguez Saá served as Minister of Legality. "Every once in a while he slaughtered an animal and handed out bags of meat," recalled Víctor Baigorria, chief of the community.
