Héctor Cavallero was appointed as executive director of Radio Nacional. In his more than half-century career, he produced dozens of shows, plays and films.

In film, he co-produced films such as La Mary with Susana Giménez and Carlos Monzón, and La Tregua, which was the first Argentine film nominated for an Oscar.
