Two new species of "glass frogs" (Centrolenidae) were discovered in the Andes of Ecuador. Small in size, they have a green back and humeral spines.

Discovery was made by a group of researchers from Inabio, the Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ) and the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador (PUCE) The new species were found at 2,900 meters above sea level, in a small stream of forests.
