Brothers Yoel, Yaakov ('Yakov') and Shmuel ('Shmiel') Weingarten, joined six others who have already been convicted. Sect leaders Nachman Halbrenz and Meir Rosner, were sentenced two years ago to 12 years in prison.
One of the former members of the sect, a 35-year-old Israeli from Jerusalem, was killed there about a week ago in an accident Mysterious ways, due to which the authorities there still do not release the body for burial.
