Flora Deak, Dominik Angerer and Christian Gürster now head the medical department at the aid organization Navis. The medical team wants to work on training and attract new people who want to be involved.
“We can bring in a breath of fresh air with new ideas,” says Deak. Deak is involved in the department management because she thinks it is important to do more than ‘just’ fly on missions. She also advocates for a clear demarcation against disaster tourism.
