Thibault de Montbrial is a lawyer at the Paris Bar and President of the Centre de réflexion sur la sécurité intérieur. He has published "Osons l'autorité" (L'Observatoire, 2020) and "Le Sursaut ou le chaos" (Plon, 2015) A man stabbed six people, including four children, on Thursday morning in a park in Annecy.
The assailant is believed to be a 31-year-old Syrian national who entered the France legally.
