The total solar eclipse of April 8, 2024 promises to be an exceptional celestial spectacle. It will only be visible in full in Mexico, the United States and Canada.

For nearly two hours, the eclipse will be partial, plunging certain areas of these countries into darkness. This phenomenon happens when the moon aligns itself perfectly with the earth and the sun, blocking the latter's light from passing through. For those who will not be across the Atlantic, NASA is offering to live the experience remotely (from 3:16 p.m. French time)
