His son is convinced that he's guilty. The trial revealed a deep division among the family members, which has separated them not only over who they think is responsible for Sherri's murder, but also over the memories they share as a family. "I don't even know how to describe, to be honest, what it feels like to go through all that and then not see anything at the end, other than a broken and separated family," says Tera Malrik.
