This is what the joy of making music sounds like: the big band from the Weilheim high school inspires enthusiasm in the Hochlandhalle. After almost two and a half hours: finale, minutes of stormy applause for the more than sixty musicians and two encores.
Compositions by, among others, Sammy Nestico/Count Basie, Ray Charles (“What’d I say”) and Cole Porter (‘Too Darn Hot’) were on the program.
