Matt Maddock, a Michigan state legislator, did not retract his false accusations even when presented with evidence that he was wrong. The Wayne County Airport Authority said in a statement that the “buses that appear in a photograph circulating on the Internet transported the basketball teams and their respective personnel.’ “They gave me a tip and I asked, because this is happening in many places and it is well documented,” Maddock wrote.
