Filming for the 24th season is currently underway in Rosenheim, Munich, and the surrounding area. 24 new episodes are expected to be created by the end of November 2024.
The "proven core team" once again includes inspectors Anton Stadler (Dieter Fischer, 53) and Sven Hansen (Igor Jefti, 52). The new addition to the ZDF long-running hit is Commissioner Kilian Kaya (Baran Hêvî, 37) and Commissioners Julia Beck (Michaela Weingartner, 33) and Astrid Schubert (Sophia Schiller, 28). The series is set to return to ZDF in November 2024, with the first episode set to air on November 21, 2024, according to the station's website.
