A 17-year-old was indicted on Saturday in Paris and placed in pre-trial detention. The young man was suspected of being the source of death threats sent to the digital workspaces of several high schools since March 20.

Since March 20, more than a hundred educational establishments have been the target of highly worrying messages. The first round of threats initially targeting establishments in Île-de-France then extended to schools throughout the national territory. Some of these missives, distributed to students' ENT mailboxes, also contained beheading videos.
