Iranian police arrested three suspected members of the Islamic State (IS) group and eight of their “accomplices” near the capital Tehran. The police also apprehended “eight accomplices of the terrorists’, added Irna, without further details.

In January, IS claimed responsibility for two bomb attacks in Kerman (south) which left more than 90 dead during a commemoration ceremony. It was the deadliest attack in the country since 1978, according to Iranian media.
