The Federal Agency for Technical Relief is the federal government's operational organization for civil protection, supported by over 80,000 volunteers and around 800 full-time employees. The aim of the Joint Capacity Development project is to strengthen Jordanian civil protection. For this purpose, Jordanian citizens and Syrian nationals are trained to become volunteer workers.
