[HIGHLIGHTS] Tina Turner died "after a long illness": Now the official cause of death has been determined

Tina Turner, 83, has died in her adopted home of Küsnacht, Switzerland. Health Minister Karl Lauterbach says Turner described how homeopathy destroyed her kidney.

The rock icon's medical record was long, she struggled with colon cancer and high blood pressure, among other things. Even NASA commemorates the deceased musician with a Twitter account, apparently alluding to her 1989 hit "Simply The Best" Mick Jagger: "I am so saddened by the passing of my wonderful friend Tina Turner"
