[HIGHLIGHTS] Today is a warning day in Germany: When and where in the morning sirens will sound - and even loudspeaker cars will drive

Bavaria and North Rhine-Westphalia in particular are taking part in the campaign. At 11 a.m.

sirens will ring in many places, cell phones will beep and some even loudspeaker trucks will drive through the streets. The next nationwide warning day will take place on September 12th, the last nationwide warningday was on September 14th, 2023. "Practice makes perfect. So we can only avoid a catastrophe if one wheel meshes with the other," says Interior Minister Herbert Reul.
