Todde officially proclaimed governor of Sardinia - Politics. Todde got 3,061 more votes than centre-right candidate Paolo Truzzu, the Cagliari court of appeal announced.
The 55-year-old Nuoro-born engineer was the candidate for the so-called 'broad field' alliance between the M5S and the centre-left Democratic Party (PD) Truzzu is a leading member of Premier Giorgia Meloni's rightwing Brothers of Italy party.
