Too few members, no structures: Wagenknecht party BSW is caught up in reality. Thuringia's Prime Minister Bodo Ramelow (Die Linke) publicly suggested that Eisenach's Mayor Katja Wolf join his top team for the state election campaign.

Wolf, who wants to switch from the Left to the Alliance Sahra WagenKnecht (BSW), rejected the public offer from the Prime Minister. The hoped-for support from politicians on the left for the BSW has so far failed to materialize.
