Firefighters evacuated 23 people overnight and were ensuring on Saturday morning that no victims were trapped in the rubble. A “significant crack” was detected by “building risk specialists” and it was initially planned that the building would benefit from shoring carried out by a private company.

The three-story building collapsed after a “first “collapse of an interior wall”, the SDIS then indicated. The building is located in the city of Toulouse, in the south of France.
