Anke Sneyer, Paralympic athlete and Belgian long jump champion, was violently knocked down this Sunday. The young woman suffered a concussion, a head injury and a broken collarbone.

The prosecution is currently conducting an investigation in which several witnesses – including the paramedics who followed the platoon – have clearly indicated that the fall was not caused by her, but by another spectator who stood on the road, forcing the riders to swerve and thus hit Anke. She has already left the hospital but must return next week for a check-up.
