Nicole Belloubet was the Minister of Justice from June 2017 to July 2020. She was appointed to replace François Bayrou during his indictment in the affair of the Modem parliamentary assistants.

She will supervise the experimentation of wearing the uniform at school, before its possible generalization at the start of the school year in September. She suffered the most significant prison crisis in recent decades from January 2018, a few months after her appointment.
