Ron DeSantis launched his 2024 Republican and presidential candidacy campaign Wednesday night during a live Twitter interview with Elon Musk. In doing so, he became former President Donald Trump's main opponent in the Republican primary.
"We must end the Republican Party's culture of loss, there is no substitute for winning," he said at the launch. The event took place on Twitter Space at 6 p.m. Eastern Time (1 a.m PT) and was streamed in real time with a feature at the top of the feed.
