Trump is turning the US election campaign into a holy war. At a National Evangelical Media Association forum in Nashville, Tennessee, the Republican favorite compared the election to D-Day and the Battle of the Bulge in World War II.
“Today we find ourselves in another battle for the survival of our nation,” Trump said in his speech. He described incumbent Joe Biden as an “incompetent president” who would not lead the people “to the promised land”
