TSV Gräfelfing inaugurated its newly renovated club house with a big, happy celebration on Sunday. In the end, the project took around four years - and more than 13 million euros, of which the municipality contributed more than twelve million.
The new wooden floor is due to arrive on Monday, the custom-made furniture is there, but the electrics in the kitchen are still a problem. Like several other small construction sites on the construction site - such as the playground - this will only go into operation in a few weeks. Many people can hardly wait for the opening of the restaurant, which will only be opened in the next few weeks, says the club's president Christoph Göbel. The community was happy to make its contribution, after all, TSV, with around 3,500 members, is more than a sports club - a social institution, says Mayor Peter Köstler, who wishes them all the best for the future. The celebration with blessing, brass music, speeches and several hundred guests consciously looked forward to the reopening.
