Russia's President Putin and Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban are particularly happy with the result. The imprisoned former co-chairman of the HDP, Selahattin Demirtas, expressed disappointment with the election result and assumed manipulation. The Turkish journalist Arzu Yildiz, who lives in exile in Canada, expects the situation in Turkey to deteriorate.
