Two accidents near Lenggries: Three motorcyclists were injured. A 68-year-old Austrian wanted to turn his motorcycle on the Töl 24 district road in the direction of Hinterriß, just before the state border.
He fell because his motorcycle slipped on the shoulder. The Austrian was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Garmisch-Partenkirchen with a suspected leg fracture. The second traffic accident involving a motorcyclist happened on the same day around 6 p.m. on the B307 in the Vorderriß area. A woman, 20, from Valley lost control of her two-wheeler in the area of a right-hand bend. She skidded across the road and into a 23-year old Austrian who was driving his motorcycle in the opposite direction.
