A man blew up his apartment in Ratingen in North Rhine-Westphalia on Thursday. A number of firefighters on site suffered injuries, some of them serious, and fought for their lives after the crime.
The perpetrator is to be brought before the magistrate on Friday. An arrest warrant was requested for attempted murder in nine cases, as also reported 24rhein.de. The prosecutor's office confirmed that the man was no stranger and there was an arrest warrant against him for unpaid money.
