Two men, one of whom was carrying an unstocked rifle, were arrested Thursday morning in the RER B. Police arrested the person carrying the weapon near Villeparisis, in Seine-et-Marne.

Another man, who tried to intervene, was also arrested. The RATP reported that the arrests “strongly disrupted traffic on the entire line” of this RER. The two men were arrested in the early hours of Thursday morning, police sources said. They were arrested after a report from a passenger, we learned from sources police officers. The incident occurred in VilleParisis (Seine-ET-Marle) in the city of Ville-Plage. The police quickly mobilized and managed to arrest a man in possession of an unstocking rifle, a police source said. The man was arrested “near Ville Parisis’s’ central station,” the same source said, adding that he was arrested on suspicion of carrying a weapon.
