Johannes Rummel is head of the sacristan's deanery in Weyarn, Germany. He also works full-time as a sexton and head of a supra-diocesan sexton school in Freising.

The 28-year-old also represents his profession on a voluntary basis in the diocesan association. He is giving up the latter position - and has already found someone interested in the new election at the end of April. The election of the new deanery leadership will take place on Wednesday, April 24th, in the parish of St. Johann Baptist in Irschenberg. A tour of the church with the sexton Nigian Anglian will also take place in the church of St Peter and Paul in WeYarn on April 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
