Two soldiers die when a helicopter crashes during a training flight in Mississippi. The state National Guard reported that the accident occurred around 2:00 pm (local time) this Friday.

“Mississippi will always be grateful for your service and we will never forget you,” Governor Tate Reeves said in a message on the X social network. The ship, a two-seat AH-64 Apache, was conducting a routine training flight when the accident was reported. The incident is the subject of an ‘active response,’ the Mississippi National Guard said.
